Registrar

The Registrar will assist in achieving the seminary’s mission to “form women and men for faithful Christian ministry and participation in the Triune God’s ongoing redemptive work in the world” by providing administrative leadership for policies and procedures to support enrollment management. The Registrar works collaboratively with the Dean, the Academic Office, and other departments and staff to support the student experience through accurate recordkeeping, clear communication, and effective design and implementation of academic policies and curriculum. The Registrar also serves and cares for students through advising and retention efforts.

Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will assist in achieving the seminary’s mission to “form women and men for faithful Christian ministry and participation in the Triune God’s ongoing redemptive work in the world” by ensuring the smooth operation of the seminary’s human resource activities. Manage and execute HRIS processes and functions. Work in tandem with and counsel employees and supervisors on key human resource decisions and issues.

STUDENT POSITIONS
Student Summer Maintenance Crew
Assist in achieving the Western Theological Seminary’s mission to “form women and men for faithful Christian ministry and participation in the Triune God’s ongoing redemptive work in the world” by serving on the student summer maintenance crew.
General duties include painting, apartment and general cleaning, grounds work, indoors and outdoors.

The starting pay rate (effective 5/06/24) is $11.80/hour.

Community Action House Student Advocate
Provide support to the Community Kitchen by developing and managing a Children’s Center and literacy program and enhancing a welcoming environment for patrons. A job description is available here.

Student Staff Positions – Maintenance Snow Crew
Part-time student staff positions are open on the Maintenance Snow Crew, reporting to David Becker, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds.
Snow Crew responsibilities include
- Remove snow on campus sidewalks, entries, exterior steps, and ramps; clear parking areas not reached by snow plow service.
- Remove overnight snow accumulation prior to 7:30 AM on assigned days of the week (two people per day). Work typically must begin at 6:00 AM.
- Remove daytime snow accumulation in the early afternoon.
- Operation runs seven days a week; crew members may trade days to accommodate absences.
